It's all in the title.
I hate this place.

Okay, I'll begin at the start of the story.

It was the drinks with the guys from work thing last night. We all finished (early) at about 4.30 and walked into town, to a bar on Bath Street. I had some pasta carbonara for dinner (it was the shit!) and headed home to grab a shower and change and stuff. I went back out and had a really good time in the first pub - Elliot's - with everyone, until a few friends called me and said I should come meet them on Sauchiehall Street, as they were going to ABC. If you're from Glasgow (or if Therese or Fanny read this) you'll understand how overrated ABC is. I had a few drinks with those friends on Sauchiehall Street, then headed back to meet the work people. My friend Matt was way too drunk to get into Karbon (or so the bouncers said, but we reckoned it was cos he's got a mohawk), so we literally stood in the street wondering where to go.
I remember I really had to pee at this moment too, which is never good.

We eventually wandered towards Central Station and the taxi queue was huuuuge.
By this time (it was only about 0045) I was ready to just go home. Couldn't be bothered.
Then out of nowhere 3 guys (one in a white shirt, one wee guy, and another guy) were arguing in the street. It was the white shirt guy vs the wee guy and the other guy.
The one in the white shirt suddenly just punched the wee guy twice and ran off down the street.
He didn't get too far though, the wee guy and the other guy caught up with him and proceeded to give him a lovely little beating right in the middle of the road.
The wee guy smashed the white shirt guy's phone off the street, and then casually walked away like it was an everyday thing to do to someone.

That's why I hate Glasgow.

In addition, when I finally did decide to go home about 30 minutes later some random old guy was STEAMING drunk, and he somehow managed to stagger backwards really quickly, fall, and hit his head on the marble stairs of a building. The blood was just streaming out of his head, and him and his mate refused to go to the Emergency and get it checked out. The guy who was hurt was probably so drunk he didn't feel a thing. His friend, however, wasn't AS drunk, and still refused any help. Wonder how his headache is today.
